Artist History
"The Hand" has played professionally since the age of 15 yrs and wrote his first original "Halls of Darkness" at the age of 16 yrs. He has run lights and sound for a number of bands and has written album reviews for the now defunct Wedge magazine. He also promoted heavy metal acts Megadeth, Fates Warning, Lizzy Borden and others from the Metal Blade and Combat labels during the mid 1980's. "The Hand" and Dirt have been playing together since childhood. Hooking up with a number of keyboard players in the late 1980's and early 1990's "The Hand" and Dirt played together under the name "Livewood". They teamed up with Merritt after all three broke away from another Cleveland band named "Breakwall". They have continued to play since 1995 primarily as a party and recording band using the name "Natchez". "The Hand" runs a website called Audio Fruit Music Entertainment at: www.coolpenguin.com. Merritt specializes in 3D painting and is the bands resident artist.
