Compaq Computer Corporation is a leading computer manufacturer. Originally formed by Rod Canion and his two partners from Texas instruments, in 1982, today it is brand name of Hewlett Packard Inc. Compaq merged with HP in 2002 to form the single biggest entity in the computer industry. Today HP is the world leader in the computer and printing industry.
